Gladstone Park recognises to the educational importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). We value its role in improving student learning outcomes and enabling young people to engage and work in a complex world that relies on ICT.
The college has a commitment to providing a substantial number of computer classrooms and other digital resources. We are not a laptop or 1:1 device school, we want our students to have access to fully capable software and learn to use it in the same way it is used in ordinary working life. We educate and expect our students to use digital technologies in a safe and responsible manner.
The college has access to Microsoft Office 365 through the Education Department. This allows students to have their own student email address and access to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote at any time or place via the internet. The use of Microsoft Office 365 requires parent permission and students must only use it for their school work.
