It is never too early to start thinking about your future and here at Gladstone Park Secondary College we have a dedicated careers team to assist students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Year 7 and 8

The focus on Years 7 – 8 is to begin a career exploration process where students start to think about their journey beyond secondary school.

Years 9 and 10

Students in Years 9 and 10 have dedicated Career information and exploration days providing the students opportunities to start planning for their future pathways.
During Year 9 students will start to explore their future pathways with dedicated career information sessions to investigate their options though the Senior school years.

A compulsory part of the Year 10 program is for the students to obtain a week-long placement within an area of their interest. During this time students are given the unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the work environment generally and more specifically the occupation they have chosen.

Please see the file below for the work experience form students are required to complete and hand back to the Careers Centre.
