Enrolment Process

Gladstone Park welcomes enrolment applications from all interested families.

The College is a zoned school. Our school zone is available via  Find my School. We guarantee a place for students whose permanent residential address is within our school zone. We hope to accommodate any family who feels Gladstone Park is the right school for them.

All Year 7 enrolment applications are managed using the Placement Policy. The priority order of placement is:

  1. students whose permanent address is in the school zone
  2. students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending our school at the same time
  3. all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school

Grade 6 – Year 7 Enrolment Process

For students at government schools

  1. Download the information booklet for: Year 6 to Year 7 transition, information pack 2023-2024 Guidance for parents and carers with Year 6 children at government schools
  2. Read the Department’s Placement Policy including the priority order of placement at: Placement Policy
  3. Locate your designated neighbourhood school or preferred secondary schools using www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au
  4. Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement 2024 form and return to your primary school by Friday 12th May 2023. Your child’s primary school will advise you how you should return the form.

For students at non-government schools

  1. Download the information booklet for: Year 6 to Year 7 transition, information pack 2023-2024 Guidance for parents and carers with Year 6 children at non-government schools
  2. Locate your designated neighbourhood school or preferred secondary schools using www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au
  3. Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement 2024 form by Friday 12th May 2023 and return to either:
    a)  Your child’s non-government primary school. Your primary school will advise you how you should return the form; OR
    b)  Directly to your preferred government secondary school.

All Other Enrolments

Prospective enrolments are required to follow this process:

  1. Interested families are required to complete a consideration for enrolment form and return it fully completed to the College along with the required documentation.
  2. When the required documentation has been submitted to the college, the appropriate Sub-school Principal will contact you regarding your enrolment application.
